Save Our Bridge, with Sustrans Connect2 Project
The Riversdale Bridge project is seeking funding as part of a larger project managed by Sustrans (the sustainable transport charity). This is called Connect2. The Connect2 project includes 79 schemes which includes the Riversdale Bridge project. Connect2 is seeking funding from the Big Lottery Fund for all these schemes in late 2007 via a public television vote. If Connect2 wins this competition, Riversdale Bridge will be funded, along with all the other schemes within the Connect2 bid.
We have been asked to create a separite website for the Riversdale bridge, which will be updated with news on whats happening, photos of the bridge and other matters regarding the appeal.
